We are starting to prepare for our Triathlon. Today Chris from Bike Safety N.Z. came to teach us how to keep safe when riding our bike.

First of all Chris showed us how we should wear our helmet so that our head is protected.

Our helmet needs to be the correct size.


Our helmet needs to sit just above our eyebrows.


Our helmet needs to be done up firmly.

We have had fun learning to write our number ideas on a number wheel.

This is what we did.

Choose a number.
Say whether it is an odd or even number.
Write a word story.
Write number stories for the number.
Show the number using equipment.


You could try making a number wheel at home. Bring it to school to show us all.

What is a Fact?

This week we have been learning to write facts.

We know that a fact is information that is true.


Here are some of the facts that we have written about.

Bees can sting.
